Types of Lacrosse Sticks
As a newer player, you will probably use a wider stick or head for easier catching. Scooping up a ground ball is easier with a flatter, wider stick. You will want to find a comfortable stick with a good handle that will help you grow with the game.
If you are an experienced player, you may be looking for a more curved stick. Defenders may use a stiffer stick than attack players. The goalie, usually an experienced player, will need a stiffer stick to defend the goal.
Most sticks now have a direct or a 10-degree offset at the head in their stick design; but Epoch Lacrosse has designed and launched a new 15-degree head. Check out the Epoch Purpose that offers the unique 15- degree offset for increased ball control. Longstreth carries Lacrosse products from all the top manufacturers, including Under Armour, Brine, Epoch, and Maverik.
We have handles available in composite materials that will hold up well in different weather conditions and give the same lightweight feeling as alloy materials. Scandium and titanium stick handles come in several styles including hourglass, teardrop and octagon designs.
