PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Competitively my sophomore year of high school
My brother really was, because he pushed me to be my best. I don't think I really followed or knew about other athletes because my family was never truly crazy about any sports team. Crazy, because we are all athletes
In college we would always eat two bagels, one sandwich and one with cream cheese. I have definitely shied away from that tradition but it depends on the time of day. If it's a morning game then usually some oatmeal with peanut butter and protein and fruit.
I can't say that I have one favorite pump-up song but you can never go wrong with some 2000's hits.
Never giving up.
I don't really think I have one unless juggling is a secret talent? Or maybe playing the ukulele?
Oh hmm that's hard. Depending on the mood but you can never go wrong with Coco.
I would love to meet Katniss Everdeen.
I wanted to be a veterinarian.
I love to do any outdoors actives or some kind of artsy ones like drawing, painting, or playing the ukulele.
I think I am pretty good at making some Kraft Mac and Cheese. But I really love to cook anything!
A German coach talked to our team about two years ago. He talked to us about how we view it when we lose the ball. Most people sit there and said ugh I messed up and lost the ball. However, he taught me how to look at that and say, "Now I have a chance to win the ball again." He helped me realize that in sports, especially field hockey, mistakes will be made over and over and you will fail sometimes. But, if you can look at those times of missing a ball, a pass, a shot in a different and more positive light, you will keep succeeding. Take those mistakes and see them as growth, not as failure.
So far my favorite place has been New Zealand although I wish we got to travel and see more of it!
PIE especially Pumpkin Pie
Absolutely, although BBQ Chicken is the best.
Cabin all the way
Winning a National Championship for Syracuse. We were the first ever women's team and field hockey team in Syracuse history and it was exactly what my mom had done for the University of Delaware when she played Lacrosse there.
