STX was started in 1970 when their first and only product was the first synthetic lacrosse stick.  STX is not an acronym but a trademark pronounced “Sticks”.  This trademark is registered around the world and is also included in the company name.  STX is a company that is devoted to developing innovative, quality lacrosse sticks and equipment.  In 1998 STX introduced the first open sidewall stick for women called the ARC.  In 1999 STX developed the first open sidewall Goalkeeper stick called the Eclipse.  Finally in the year 2000, STX celebrated their 30^th anniversary.
