In 1986 the company Sport Helmet, whom we now know as Cascade started producing some of the first Lacrosse head protection.  Now in 2005 Cascade Helmets produces one of the lightest lacrosse helmets you can buy.  Cascade carries everything from field helmets to helmets for youth and helmets for women to wear for lacrosse goal tending.  Cascade was also the first company to produce the wire eyemask, which is called the Iris.  Later came the introduction of the Iris Mini, which started as a wire goggle for youth players but is now marketed as a wire goggle for any player with a smaller face structure.  In 2005 Cascade has introduced a new line of Wire eyemask with a lacrosse specific sight line.  The I-Pro has hit the market. With a clearer sight line and temple pieces that go along side the head like sunglasses.  Who knows what Cascade will show us next?
